The dawn sun rays through the trees woke me up to a beautiful morning in Moloa Bay. I was really excited about the day ahead as I would now be paddling along the dramatic and varied north coast of Kauai. This is a write up of a failedĀ attempt at circumnavigating Kauai in an inflatable kayak from 7 to 11 June 2007. The plan was to kayak around the island over the course of two weeks, however, spoiler alert, did not make it .
